About "Skull and Crossbones"
So, what is the purpose of this weblog?
My intention is to install a collection of images that depict variations of the well-known skull and crossbones symbol. Nothing more, nothing less.
This is a personal weblog; it is not open for everyone to post their images in, but participation is highly encouraged. Images that fit into the scheme of this weblog, hints to places on the web, or ideas for creating new images are welcome via the comment function in this weblog.
I prefer images that are somewhat funny or original, but basically all variations are welcome. Also, I prefer images with the crossbones under the skull, rather than behind it. Again, this is just a personal preference and not a strict rule.
All kinds of variations to the original skull and crossbones symbol are accepted. They may be self-made images, or photographs taken in the real world, or found somewhere on the net. This collection is meant to show what's out there. Exceptions are of course insulting, forbidden symbols etc.
If you should feel offended or your copyrights harmed by any of the images shown in this weblog, please contact me and I will remove the respective image(s) immediately if your request is valid. If available, I will provide a web source for each image posted. All sources can be found here.
